Since the debut album "Dancing Light" this stellar group had a number of live dates, and the music really grew and developed. What started originally as an avenue to showcase label founder Gregg Hill's compositions in this beautiful sounding quintet format had begun to take on a richer character. This live date, recorded at Trinity House Theatre in Livonia outside of Detroit, shows the musicians stretching out in a live performance context in the way that creative improvisers do best live, using these intriguing themes as vehicles to showcase their singular inventiveness. On this incredible record you'll hear the electronic jazz accordion of Cory Pesaturo (multiple award-winning player) conversing with Ralphe Armstrong (former bass player with Jean-Luc Ponty, Mahavishnu Orchestra), while Tucker Antell (young firebrand of the sax scene) soars over the tapestry created by Elden Kelly (guitars) and Gayelynne McKinney (drummer for James Carter, Roy Hargrove, Aretha Franklin). We are so stoked about this record and can't wait for you to hear it!
